The aim of the health improvement training run by the SE London Bowel Cancer Screening Centre is to equip those working with adults aged 50 plus in any capacity
- to raise awareness of bowel cancer
- to recognise signs and symptoms of bowel cancer
- support clients and friends to participate in the programme
- and promite the bowel screening programme.
NHS commuity health staff, local authority health and social care staff, voluntary sector organisations and community groups working with hard to reach or vulnerable populations are welcome to attend.
The trainer will be Jo Zhou, Health Promotion Specialist from SE London Bowel Cancer Screening Centre.
