Commit to Quit on World No Smoking Day

There are around 350 deaths due to smoking related illnesses in Lambeth each year.

Choice FM DJ Daddy Ernie, who fronts Lambeth's Make Smoking History campaign and the stop smoking team will be offering advice to would-be quitters at the following locations.
• Brixton High Street (outside Footlocker), Wednesday, March 10, 4pm-8pm
• Lambeth College (Clapham campus), Wednesday, March 10, 11am - 3pm

The stop smoking team provides a free service offering:

• Stop smoking advisors to guide you through the quitting process by devising a personalise quit programme, setting a quit date and much more. Call the team on 0800 856 3409.

• Drop-in clinics to advise you on why giving up is good and how your loved ones will benefit if you go smoke free at home.

• Incentives including vouchers which can be exchange for a trip to the hairdresser, home improvements or various high street treats to encourage you to stay cigarette free.

• Free advice, support and nicotine replacement therapy in pharmacies across the borough.
