Equal Healthcare Treatment for People with a Learning Disability

When you are not given the right support and things are not explained to you, it can leave you feeling let down by the doctors, nurses and the whole NHS.

Learning Disability 2010 runs this week and Mencap will be trying to change how the NHS works.

Mencap want to do this by showing everyone what it is like for people with a learning disability when they are treated badly in hospital. They have made a video for their "Getting It Right" campaign which is based on stories and experiences from people with a learning disability.
