The research aims to further develop training for hospital based health professionals to help inform patients and families from ethnic minorities about organ donation and transplants.
King's College are interested in people that are from a African, Caribbean, Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi background, and have personally received an organ or cared for someone who has.
Maybe the person has cared for someone who was a donor, or asked to give consent for someone else to donate.
Volunteers will be required to attend two meetings per year over four years with six-eight other people. Your role will be to offer advice on the research based on your experience. You will be offered training and travel expenses will be re-imbursed.
